History and Background
The Inter-Technical Group, Inc. (ITG) is a multinational technical marketing company founded in
1963 by Dr. Werner F. Auerbacher, an electronics engineer and specialist in soft magnetics. Prior to founding ITG, 'Doc' did pioneering work in radio, television and missle development programs.
ITG created an innovative approach to the distribution of electronic components to the United States, transforming the traditional concept of importer-distributor, who "sells only based on price" to an organization that markets high quality components and provides a full range of engineering, sales and financial services for its principals, to its customers.
ITG has built a nationwide network of representatives and distributors, and experienced, knowledgeable sales and support personnel.
